Rock Band is Good For the Humours

Had some friends over for what turned out to be a very long night of music and booze. I didn't spend a lot of time developing these - they're really just snapshots - but there are some fun pictures in here.

Two Live Shows

I recently got a chance to take pictures of two friends playing music live. It was my first change to put the Tamron through its paces, and I love some of the results I got. I also have the speedlight with me, so many of these shots use it. I'm still getting the hang of using an external flash well - I'm finding it difficult to know when I'll need to use flash compensation and when I don't. Still, I think I got some great shots.

Oh, and another great thing about having a nicely-sized lens and flash? People assume you're supposed to be there, so I was pretty much allowed to go wherever I wanted in pursuit of a photo. It was lots of fun.
